Why Raydon
Raydon was registered in 2025, but the people behind the work bring nearly two decades of field experience across ventilation, construction, overhauls, pipework, conveyors and industrial mechanical systems.
The fault may be mechanical, but the solution can require structural work, fabrication, lifting, alignment, inspection and installation. Raydon coordinates the disciplines around the job instead of leaving the client to manage disconnected contractors.
Speed matters during a breakdown, but uncontrolled work creates a second problem. Raydon combines urgency with planning, communication, SHEQ discipline and clear responsibility.
Our capability is shaped by demanding operational environments, including both surface and underground work where access, airflow, routing, safety and equipment condition must be considered together.
Safety, SHEQ & HSE Alignment
Raydon treats safety and SHEQ as part of engineering delivery—not paperwork added after the method has been chosen. Every scope is planned around the hazards, people, equipment, interfaces and operating conditions that shape the work.
For South African mining and industrial projects, the control approach is planned around applicable requirements under the Mine Health and Safety Act or Occupational Health and Safety Act, together with client HSE standards, site rules, permits, isolations, lifting plans, access controls and contractor requirements.
For work outside South Africa, Raydon adapts the same field discipline to host-country legislation, client HSE systems and recognised ISO 45001 principles. Documentation, responsibilities and handover requirements are agreed for the specific site and jurisdiction.
